Traffic Violations

Traffic violations involve both moving violations, such as driving under the influence and speeding, as well as mechanical violations, such as broken windshields.  Violations of traffic rules and regulations are generally considered to be minor offenses. However, certain traffic offenses can be very serious if substantial injuries are sustained or a death occurs as a result of a traffic offense.  Traffic violations are very common, and law enforcement officials treat non-resident drivers like residents when they are stopped for a traffic offense.  When a traffic law is violated, the offender may have to pay a fine as specified on the ticket, and some violations will result in serious consequences, such as the suspension of one's driver's licenses.
